"We've been living in our first new home for three years and have been constantly bothered by neighbor's dog's barking at all hours of the day and night. Animal Control wasn't much help. "We moved to a small, historic little town a few years back. The next door neighbor's dog was barking a little, no big deal, so we thought at the time. We met the owner who assured us that she was 'trying to get him to stop' barking with a shock collar. I researched methods online to help her without shocking the dog and came across Dog Silencer Pro. I printed out the info for her but I think it was tossed in the garbage. (The dog is a schnauzer and the auto-response had little effect on him but the boost mode, activated with the remote, worked perfectly. He was older and set in his ways.) With the remote the dog would stop barking instantly, bow his head and walk away. No more nuisance barking.
The DSP was sprayed with water to disable it and it still worked. I placed the DSP in the front yard, in a flower pot with a geranium, facing the dog's chain link fenced front yard. One neighbor split the cost of the DSP with us and an extra remote was purchased for them for when we weren't home. The quiet is deafening. I live in a coastal community where the houses are built within very close proximity to take full advantage of the ocean views. I got it Friday of last week and have been enjoying the benefits of its use since. I must admit that every day without the Dog Silencer Pro unit was painful, considering that I had it for a month previously. "Like many people, I always think if it sounds too good to be true... it is. Not so with the Dog Silencer Pro! We have 2 active small dogs who used to bark when anyone came near our front door. "I have found the Dog Silencer Pro to be just wonderful. I have a neighbor with three very noisy dogs who bark constantly when left out in the yard (at 5:15am every morning !). After just a few days, they were barking less and now hardly bark at all. I would recommend that customers purchase the AC adaptor and the extension cord when ordering the unit. "Just wanted to tell you how well the Dog Silencer Pro has worked for me, my family, and of course our three terriers, Bulldozer, Wildthing, and Indecision. They are 10, 10, and 5 and have never really been trained to do anything except be our best friends.
