“Barking came very naturally to Ranger, our 1.5-year-old border collie mix. And while she was quick to quiet down whenever we told her to, during the work weeks while Ranger was home alone we started getting complaints that her barking was creating a disturbance. "I was originally very skeptical about the claims of this device, but the 4 dogs next door made me desperate enough to try anything. I set the unit up under my patio overhang pointing down into neighbor’s yard directly at dogs, but hidden from site by a hanging plant. I also put a piece of black tape over the blinking lights too so I could seek revenge anonymously. I accelerated the training by using the remote to activate the device after every single little bark, and after a few hours, I set the sensor to high and let the controller do its job.
Prior to this, dogs barked all day and night. With no nuisance barking law here yet, I was forced to sleep with earplugs every night. "When I first read the testimonials, I had my doubts. I was wary about it working on our neighbor's dog who tends to "yodel-bark". However, I was very happily proved wrong. We placed ours in the backyard and experienced the results within minutes. We bought a second one to control dog that lives across the street.
The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you buy the AC adapter and extension cord, as we were going through a 9-volt battery each week to insure the strongest intensity (especially if you are dealing with an older dog who may have hearing issues). It is sad that so many people fail to train their dogs correctly. This product offers an effectively humane solution."

Reagan, my youngest German Shepherd (5) is very smart and very vocal and very impatient. She has a high pitched piercing bark that she starts while I’m cooking supper for the dogs. Now Banker, an older GSD foster has joined in her chorus. It drove my husband out of the house and upset everyone. So when I heard about the Dog Silencer Pro, I ordered it immediately. I even ordered the collar for insurance.
I received the Dog Silencer Pro on Wednesday night and immediately plugged it in, read the instructions and tested it. I noticed Reagan and Banker stopped that irritating barking after just a couple barks.
